rosewater is a celebration of the diasporic peoples of Africa, West Asia (SWANA), North + South India, & all the related islands (Sri Lanka, etc).
rosewater is a collaboration between community space couchdate and UNDEFINED, a creative collective and booking agency amplifying diaspora talent through intentionally curated lineups.
Our programming features the next wave of South Asian and Afro-diasporic talent. Each rosewater books over 20 artists/makers, and highlights not just how beautiful their art is, but how their respective cultures are all connected.
The first rosewater on October 19th 2024 sold out one week before the event. We turned away almost 100 people at the door. UNDEFINED booked over 13 up and coming artists for the the event, and it was a huge success in connecting our communities
For the second rosewater on December 7th, UNDEFINED and couchdate featured over 20 artists and sold out once again.
The next rosewater is April 4+5, don’t
